X-ray

Daddy had a lay in this morning I don't know why, I only got up once and I managed to get up before mummy went to work. Well daddy got up and did my breakfast, then we got ready to go out and meet some of my friends. Quinn didn't make it today, but Max and Reis did which was good especially as I've not seen Max for ages and this was the last chance before they go on there summer holiday, we all met up at the play area in Marina mall, this was good as I've never been to that play area before, it's big and we played in the soft play before going on some rides, when we were finished we all said goodbye as we probably will not see each other until August/September. Me and daddy then went home to have some lunch, before we had to go and see the doctor to get rid of my nasty cough, the doctor didn't put any holes in me today, but she did give me an x-ray - I got to see all inside me, I could see all my bones and my heart and some other stuff, she said I was alright and I'll be OK to go on holiday but she has given me lots more medicines (the doctors like to give out medicine, mummy says that its because the insurance companies pay for everything as oppose to the NHS) today she prescribed me:

Back to work and nursery after our long weekend, but we've only got this week and next until we go on our holidays. A nice start with daddy before going to nursery. Nursery was good and it was great to catch up with my friends, though I can't believe I've only got 3 more nursery days, then I'll be at mummy's school in September. Daddy timed picking me up well, we were just coming down to the play room as he came through the door. On the way home we had to do some boring food shopping, but when we got home me and daddy did some drawing and I did some cutting out with my new scissors, I like these as I'm allowed to use them unlike mummy's big ones - I always get told off, if I get them. Later on I went down to Grace and Amelia's to see what they had been up to as I've not seen them for ages, we ended up watching some strange film about someone with square pants, daddy said it looks like a load of rubbish. When we went back upstairs and mummy was home, so I played with her until T3Bs.

Bank holiday Sunday ...

After a few bad nightS sleep I decided it was time I had a good one, so last night was nice and long with no wake ups, I think mummy and daddy liked this as well. When I did get up (8am) daddy got out of bed and we left mummy to have more sleep. We played and had breakfast then when mummy got up we all got ready to go out, because today is an Islamic holiday, which means mummy didn't have to go to school, so we all went to a hotel to swim and just enjoy the day in the sun, I did loads of swimming and looked all wrinkled by the time mummy and daddy decided we had to go home. We got home just in time for T3Bs, so no wonder I was all wrinkly.

Today has been brilliant, started with all the usual but after a bath and getting dressed, me and daddy went for a drive and ended up at some place I've never been to before, it's near the leaning building. After parking we walked in to the big building with some other people and then I started to see some mummy's and children which I reconised from various Abu Dhabi Mummy things, we have been to. After walking to where everyone else was I got to go on a train with daddy, it took us for a little ride around the building, when we got off, we hung around with everyone else and had drinks, cakes and popcorn, while lots of people with cameras took photos and made films, then some one said it was time to go in and we all ran in to a big hall together, and in the hall was loads of fun stuff, first there was all the characters from Ice Age, and a big area that looked like the Ice Age film but even better as it had loads of games to play, there was also a big assault course which I loved and did 3 times (some of the people working there didn't believe that I was only 3 as I was good and not scared even thou it was up high), after that I played lots of games - daddy said there like the stalls you get at fairs in England, but there wasn't any goldfish and daddy said he won goldfish playing it in England. We went to see some Sea Lions next and they did lots of tricks and were funny. The next thing was not very good thou I thought it would be fun but it was scary, it was a big jump thing where you jump off a platform near the roof (almost 3 floors up) and land on a big bag (full of air) that looks like a bouncy castle, I liked the look of it but when we got up to the top I thought daddy should go first, he did but I decided it was a bit too scary - the man there said I was the bravest 3 year old he knew even to think about doing it. Next we played some more games and I got to play on a big climbing frame with lots of slides, Abdullah and his daddy turned up at this point so I got to do loads more with him, the next big thing was an ice skating show of the Cinderella which was really good the people doing it are really good skaters, and 2 of them even flew over our heads. After that I took Abdullah to the assault course and the big jump as I thought I'd give it another go and climbed all the way to the top, but in the end only daddy did it again. That was about it for there as we had to get home to mummy. When we got home mummy said we were going out again to see one of her friends from school, they live in a big house with a pool but I couldn't go in the pool today (as the pool man had just been and added chemicals to it, why didn't they tell him I was coming) so I'm coming back soon, they also have a little dog 'Coco' who is really friendly, me and mummy wanted to take her but daddy said no. I don't know what mummy and daddy got up to as I spent the whole time there playing upstairs with the dog and their little girl 'Aileen' until it was time to go home.

Yummy ...

 I had a bad night again and not sure mummy daddy liked it, daddy stayed in bed for ages this morning, luckily mummy got up to play, when daddy got up we all went shopping as daddy was cooking a lovely roast, daddy spent a long time in the kitchen, making our dinner, and just before it was ready Abdullah and his parents came to join us so we all had dinner together which was nice, daddy did one of his specials lamb leg stuffed with spinach and apricot, Everyone liked it and mummy made some mini banoffee pies which were yummy too, I got to play with Abdullah while all the grown ups sat around talking, it was a good afternoon. When Abdullah had to go home me mummy and daddy went to some shops to get some stuff for our holiday. Hopefully I'll have a good night as I need it and mummy deserves a good night too.

I'm a maths genius

Today was back to nursery and I forgot that I normally lay in, so got up just after mummy and daddy, which was good as it meant I got to see mummy before she went to school. Today daddy didn't take me, I got a lift with Abdullah and his daddy, which was good as I've not seen him for ages. At nursery we didn't have splash play today so I wasn't too happy, we had a thing about making sure we all wear our seat belts in the car, as not wearing them is very dangerous, I didn't need this as I always have to wear mine any way and would rather have played in the water. Abdullah's parents picked me up as well and I didn't go home - I went to his house for a bit so we could play, but Abdullah had to go boring shopping after a while so I went home to daddy where I just wanted to sleep, but daddy was nasty and wouldn't let me, even thou I promised to go to bed when I was meant to, sometimes I don't like my daddy. Luckily mummy came home not much later, she's nice so I spent time with her and actually forgot I was tired, until it was time for dinner then I remembered and took as long as I could, mucking about until I finished by which time daddy had made me a bath, so I woke up all over again to play in the bath as it is one of my favourite times, but too quickly mummy said it was time to get out and ready for bed.

Yesterday I ran out of time again, mummy and daddy should let me stay up later and I would do this everyday. The morning wasn't to exciting all the usual, but me and daddy did go to the Abu Dhabi mums group again, where I got to play loads and daddy got to drink lots of coffee, in all it was an OK morning, but when Abdullah got home from nursery his mummy phoned daddy and asked if I wanted to go over to play, that's a silly question especially as I'd just got in a little bit of trouble for been cheeky to daddy and it was a good reason to get away from him. So off I went and had a great time playing firemen with Abdullah, and watching 'the cat in the hat' film, its just like the books (but you don't need a mummy or daddy to read it to you). Half way through the film daddy came to get me but Abdullah and his mummy came to, we all got in the car with my mummy and went to the beach where we spent the rest of the day swimming and building sand castles.

Neo - "Mummy I love our cuddles, I don't like it when you fo to work that why I cuddle you around your legs so you can't leave"

Birthday

Today was nursery but we didn't do proper cooking, which is a shame as I like cooking, but what we did instead is try all the things the hungry caterpillar eats in the book, as we are doing all about growing things at the moment and he grows lots, after nursery I went with daddy to mummy's school so I could play the drums, which I did but they were back in the small room again not on the stage, I had a good time though and before long it was time to go home and pack my bag as I'm staying at Abdullah's tonight and will tell you all about it tomorrow.

Fun Fun Fun

Yesterday was a nursery day, had another good one there, and daddy came to pick me up then when we got home we played until mummy came home. But she went straight out I wasn't happy about this as I wanted to go with her. So I just went outside with daddy, which ended up been really good as Abdullah came down as well and then after a while all the other children who live here came out as well and we all ended playing till it was late, so late I didn't write my blog for you all to read, not that I did much to tell you all about.

Well to today, I got up and had to drag mummy and daddy out of bed, there always tired at the moment. After mummy went to work, me and daddy mucked about for a while then got ready to go out as we were meeting some of my friends at the bowling alley for some fun and games. It was me Quinn and Reis, and we had a good go at bowling, daddy did some and for a change he was really good I don't think mummy would believe his score, but I'm sure its only a one off. After our game was finished Quinn had to go home, but me and Reis played on some of the games there including the air hockey where we had a good tight game which ended 3-3 a good result, but I'm going to win next time. After that we went upstairs for lunch - we had some chicken spring roll's with chicken and prawn fried rice it was lovely and I think we should go there with mummy one day. I had a little day sleep on the way home as daddy was nice and let me for a change, after daddy woke me up we did some drawing and colouring and just played a bit. Next thing I knew mummy had come home, we all went to the garden where loads of other children came out and we played for ages, and now I have just written this so that has been my busy day today.

Drowning mummy

Woke up early as normal this morning, but today me and mummy let daddy stay in bed for a bit, me and mummy had a nice chilled morning not doing much but it was just nice spending time with mummy, as I spend loads with daddy and I think mummy needs me as well. When daddy got up we all packed and got ready for swimming, as we were leaving the car park mummy stopped the car, got out, and ran off somewhere, then daddy got in the drivers seat
and moved the car, I think he was trying to lose her, but after a few minutes she turned up with Abdullah. This was good as it meant I had someone to play with. We went to one of the hotels on Yas Island with a pool that we can use. We had a great time and made some new friends as well, some of the best bits were when we kept attacking mummy, and riding a pink whale that a little girl let us use. After lots of fun at the hotel we all got dressed and went to get something for dinner, at the big shop that mummy loves, we had the meatballs (mummy says you will all know the shop with the meatballs) and then went around the shop which is boring but me and Abdullah were allowed to push the little trolleys, we had some crazy races around the shop. Then when mummy was finished in the shop we went back home, but we had a bit of a play at Abdullah's house before I had to make a move home for bed.

It's Mummy's turn to not be well

Today was a nice chilled out one, we didn't really do much as mummy hasn't been very well today. I got up nice and early as its the weekend, and went to get mummy and daddy up too, but only daddy got up and we let mummy sleep in as daddy said she is poorly. So me and daddy watched a film and mucked about inside, until we thought everyone else would be up then we moved all the sofas and hovered all the floors not that I needed daddy to help, I can do it all on my own, I'm strong and a better cleaner then he is. When we were done mummy got up and I gave her a big cuddle to make her all better, as it always makes me feel better when she gives me one. A bit later we sent mummy back to bed then me and daddy went to one of the big parks, it was very hot and we were the only ones there, we had a big walk and went to the aquarium to see all the fishes, it was nice and cool in there but I didn't want to stay long so we went for another walk and I played in the playground bit for a while, but it was to hot so we decided to go home to check up on mummy  mummy was still in bed when we got home, she got up for T3Bs went to bed the same time as me. I hope that she's better tomorrow as I want to go swimming.

Today was back to nursery, I had a good nights sleep and was up early to say goodbye to mummy, I even finished my breakfast before she left, something I never do. At nursery we did cooking and today we made chocolate muffins and they were lovely, mummy and daddy were upset as I didn't let them have any, but I made them, so I ate them hahahaha (evil laugh). When daddy picked me up we went to the shops to get some bits for dinner, then we went home and played at home for a while, then we went over to get mummy from school, I got to play the drums, but not in the little practice room, I got to play them on stage in the big hall, this was great and I think I'll be doing a lot of this when I get bigger. When we were done it was time to go back for T3Bs.

I've got loads of ideas!

I had a good day today. All started well getting up breakfast and all the usual stuff, then a bit later me and daddy went to one of the Abu Dhabi mums meet up thingys at the tennis club, there were loads of other children there but I was the biggest, so daddy said I had to be careful that I didn't hurt anyone when I was running around. I had a good time and some of the other children were nice and played with me, but in the end I was the one who got hurt when I fell over and banged my head, luckily it wasn't bad - I couldn't have looked a wimp in front of all the smaller children. When it was time to finish we all helped to tidy up all the toys. On the way home we went to one of the malls, so daddy could give a lady some money, he said its something to do with the internet, I just hope mummy knows he's giving some lady her money. We had a chilled out afternoon at home until  mummy came home then we all went to the beach, this is where the day got really good as we spent the rest of the day on the beach, in the sea, and at the park having a picnic. I showed mummy how I can swim in the sea now and how I can swim backwards without a float, I was very tired on the way home (it was a good job that daddy showered me and put on my pajamas at the beach) I fell fast asleep on the way home, it was very late.

No pony club today

Mummy has found out why I'm not feeling to good at the moment, I've got some more teeth coming, so today daddy got me some special medicine for my gums. I had another night of waking up a lot, so hopefully the stuff daddy has got will make my teeth better. When I woke up in the morning I had a nice breakfast, before we had to rush out to meet some of my friends, as you all know due to the heat out here now there was no pony club today but instead a couple of my gang went to the soft play area at Mushrif mall, there was only me, Reis and Quinn. But we had a great time and I can't wait to see them again next week. After we had finished playing we all went to get some lunch, I wanted pizza but after waiting for ages we gave up and daddy just got some of the nice chips from the fish and chip shop, Reis had some chicken things and Quinn had the same as me. After lunch we all said goodbye and went home, on the way home I had a little day sleep, I think daddy wanted one to but he wasn't allowed as he was driving. When we got home daddy put the stuff on my teeth and I really don't like it, but I think I've got to have it anyway. Later on I went down to Amelia's house for a bit then we all went down to the garden where we all played until it was really late, it was after my bed time, so I had a very quick dinner.

Neo - "Nanny, mummies not here she has gone in the kitchen she is not listening to you"

I'm not well :(

Last night wasn't a good one :(,  I kept waking up and I didn't feel very well, mummy and daddy were very nice to me and didn't tell me off once, so they must have known I wasn't well - I normally get in lots of trouble if I keep waking up. By the morning time I was feeling a bit better, so had breakfast got dressed and daddy took me and Abdullah to nursery. Nursery started well but by 11am I wasn't feeling very good again, so went to the medical room and had a little day sleep (in the bed- there is a bed at nursery), I really wanted daddy to come and take me home but for some reason (I still don't know he didn't) but about an hour before it was normal home time Abdullah's mummy picked me up and took me to there house (apparently mummy had sent her, thank you mummy), at about the time daddy leaves to pick me up Abdullah's mummy took me over to our house and daddy was there, which was good as he gave me some medicine, then got my blanket, put on one of my films, and let my cuddle up to him, he also gave me a nice back rub and all of this made me feel all better. We later made a big train track and read some books before mummy came home, and then she gave me more cuddles this made me feel loads better, then we played a silly game with a balloon which I kept hitting all over the house.Then it was time for an early dinner and bed.

Sent home from nursery again :(

Not a good night yet again, but I did feel a lot better when I woke up, daddy let me lay in so I was a bit late to nursery, and all my friends were already there by the time I arrived. But unfortunately I had to go home soon after, as I wasn't fully better. I didn't like the idea of this as its much more fun at nursery with my friends, then being stuck at home with daddy. After a little while at home we went for a drive to take some photos to the man making mummy's dress, then we went  to get mummy's camera and this time it was there and daddy says so far it looks like they have fixed it, I hope so because I think mummy has had enough of the fixer man and I wouldn't want to be him if its not fixed. When we got home me and daddy read some books then made my train track bigger and played trains, and when we'd finished I watched a film daddy recorded for me, its called 'The little engine that could' and I really liked it. Not long after the film ended mummy came home from work so I got to play with her while daddy made dinner, after dinner I had a really long bath and even washed my own hair, not that daddy believed me and re-did it himself.

At the lighthouse ...

I woke up at a good time this morning 6am, but daddy tried to make me go back to bed, I went along with this for about 20 minutes, but then he had to get up, luckily he let mummy stay in bed as she has to go to work on Sunday and needs a lay in, me and daddy watched a film and had breakfast before mummy got up. When she did we all got ready and went out for the day, to start we went to a little shop with a man called a tailor in it. I don't know what they do in this shop, but mummy spent a while talking to him and gave him some drawings which she did last week. After mummy finished there we went down to the big family park where we all played for ages and I got very wet at the splash park bit, which was really  good as it was so hot today. When I'd had enough of the splash park, we over to one of the climbing frames, and then we went to the top of the big lighthouse, we've never been up there before and you can see loads of Abu Dhabi from there. After that we went back to the car and off to a mall so for some boring shopping, but me and daddy went to the play area and left mummy to do the shopping. Before we knew it it was time to go home for T3Bs.

Splash park

I decided to wake up early (3am) as I thought daddy needed to have less sleep then he's been getting, he did a good job of getting me back to sleep but by 6am I had had enough, and started bugging mummy and daddy for the next 3 hours until they finally got the hint and decided to get up. I had a great time doing this but mummy and daddy didn't seem to appreciate all the effort I'd put in. For the rest of the morning we stayed in and played together, a bit later we went to the shops and got daddy a new book, mummy a skirt and me a 'Kandura' then we went somewhere we've not been for a very long time (December) the splash park, I love it there and had a fantastic afternoon, one of the men who work there even remembered me from when I used to go there loads, I think we should go there more.
