Not been up to much today just nursery so no juicy stories today just my quote of the day, daddy going out for a night out

Sunday 29^th January
Today was a nursery day, but I got up early to say bye to mummy as I keep missing her, I think she’s trying to play a big game of hide and seek, but she doesn’t know your meant to tell the other players first, silly mummy. Well this morning she tied my hair up before she to work, and when it was done she said I looked strange without my messy curly hair, she went to school and I got ready with daddy then when we left I looked in the mirror in the lift and thought I looked silly :

Neo-“Do I look silly?”

Daddy – “Yeah, a bit”

Neo – “Will the children at nursery think so?”

Daddy – “Maybe”

Neo – “Then I want my normal hair back”

So daddy took out the hair tie and we went to nursery as normal, I had a good day but the best bit was Abdullah’s mummy picked me up not daddy. So I got to go to Abdullah’s house and play loads, much more fun than going home with daddy, and even Mummy picked me up (I guess she has got bored playing hide and seek). Later on I spoke to pretty nanny when I was in the bath, which is funny, and I even gave her an up to date recipe for bubble juice. I was also talking to her about my underwater project I’m doing at nursery, which leads me on to todays quote -

Neo – “Nanny I made a puffer fish at nursery, but you can’t eat them as they might make you poorly coz their spiky”

Golf ...

So today started with an early start mummy had to be at the port by 7:30am (I don't think the people mummy works with realise that it is the weekend, for two reason 1 its too early and 2 its the weekend therefore mummy is all mine not theirs, they have her all week) anyway this morning was the foggiest day we have ever had here in Abu Dhabi, driving down to the port you could only see about 2 buses (daddy says that's about 50ft, but they must be massive giant feet and not my size 11's) ahead of us.
Neo - "Why are the clouds on the road?"
Mummy said that the fog was even worst when her and her school kiddies got out on the sea on a boat, today was mummies first sea scuba dive. Mummy said it was so foggy that the coast guards kept getting them to stop and that they had to use something called GPS to find where they were going (and it wasn't far at all) when they to the edge of a coral reef and then they swan down to the bottom. Mummy said her first fish she saw as a scuba diver was an Angel fish (pretty granddad, will be glad) but they also saw loads of other little fishes plus a massive dolphin, a white turtle and a shark (just about half the size of me, wow).
 
In the mean time me and daddy went to the golf championship, we were going to the car park by the entrance but it was far to busy and the police men were pitting bits of paper on lots of the cars so daddy said we need to park somewhere else which meant we got to go on a coach which was fun as I like coaches. When we got in we had a drink from a really cool bus thing daddy said it was a VW camper, I just thought it was big and red and not like the normal places you normally get drinks from. There were lots of men with sticks hitting balls a long way, daddy said they were playing golf - I never knew my stick and ball game I play already had a name, as I invented this game they should let me play but daddy said I'm not allowed, but I got to play a bit with some children in another part. I also got to go on the big boat (Sanya) we saw a few weeks ago, but it was on grass and I said it won't go very fast its meant to be in the water. After a while I was getting bored, as they wouldn't let me play so I said we should go and get mummy and then just at that minute she phoned daddy could we come and get her (yeah).

I fell asleep in the car and when I woke up mummy was back so we went to a restaurant for some food and then to the park.

Tiger fish ...

Today I had fun with mummy as well as daddy, we went to the park and aquarium. I saw a spotted turtle and loads of different types of fishes, one of them was called a lion fish, he was all stripy like a tiger not a lion so that's a silly name, but mummy said it was because of his things like a mane and she said he was very dangerous, but he was only little, so I don't think that he can be.

On the way to the park, mummy told me that she is probably going away for a couple of days with some of her students -
Neo - "Why?"
Mummy - "Because they need to study beaches and the mangroves for geography"
Neo - "Are their mangroves in Abu Dhabi?"
Mummy - "Yes there are"
Neo - "So why are you going away for beaches and mangroves, when their here?"

Tonight me and mummy were having a tickle fight, but mummy was winning so I said "Mummy, I am only small", hehe, this worked so she let go and I jumped on her and pushed her down, so I won!!

Free ....

Today me and daddy went to see the cricket (it was free), on the way in there was a man waving a wand over daddy which was bleeping but they pointed me straight in without bleeping me.
Neo - "daddy why was they waving a wand at you"
Daddy - "It is to check I wasn't taking anything into the ground that is not allowed"
Neo - "But what if i'm taking something in?"

When we were at the cricket lots of people were looking and smiling at me, its my lovely long blonde curls again, lots of people asked if they could take photos of me, I didn't mind that but then a TV video man started to video me and I told daddy, "I don't want to be on TV as it's not on our TV", I know that because daddy looked this morning when he said that we could go to the cricket today, to show me what it was like I said "I know they have a ball and a bat".

Cricket was good and daddy spotted some famous golfer (called Darren Clarke), I think that golf is kinda the same as cricket, but with smaller balls, but daddy says we are going to see that on Saturday as that is free, as he banks with HSBC and daddy likes free things.

On the way home, the radio was really loud and rubbish "Daddy this music is rubbish, is it Nicky's? Why are we playing Nicky's music?" (Todays quote of the day).

Mummy says she has to tell you all about what one of her students said during have scuba diving pool session tonight -
A student - "Miss do you know how they take those photos of the swimmers in the Olympics, you know the ones of them swimming in the water with them looking down at the bottom of the pool with bubbles coming out of their mouth?"
Mummy - "Yeah with a camera"
A student - "Yeah, a man wearing the scuba diving stuff takes the photos"
Mummy - " No there are cameras in the walls on the pool and on a track at the bottom of the pool"
Student - " Really ???? I thought that there was a man at the bottom of the pool"
Mummy - "What for each lane?"
Student - "Um yeah"
Even I know that as I look at the TV's at the swimming pool, there is a whole room full of TV's showing the bottom of the pool, some of her students are silly.

This reminds me of another quote today, me and daddy went swimming today and as daddy was packing everything into the back I said  " daddy you do that and I go and say bye to everyone" (the lifeguards and Abu Dhabi swimming coach) Daddy thinks that maybe we spend to much time in the pool that I know them that well, but I think its good and the coach says when I'm bigger he will train me.

Bubble Juice ...

Mummy – “Should we send a letter to Santa”
Neo – “No, a email ……… Dear Santa and 2 reindeer, where did you get sticky buzz, my sticky buzz balls pulled off, I need a new one, and Jessie and a big Bullseye, today!”
Mummy – “We need to find out where Santa got him from then we might be able to buy a new one.”
Neo – “No, when I go to sleep Santa comes, and when I wake up there’s lots of new things.”
Just for your info the toy is a Buzz Lightyear with sticky hands which walks down the wall.

Whilst I am having my evening bath

Neo – “Mummy, Daddy do you want a bubble juice … to make bubble juice, you have to have a jug and a dish. Then you take the dish and add a little bit of water and some bubble then pour it into the jug, then add some more, then add a little rubber duck, but not a giraffe as he’s too big. Then you need to add eleven more bits of water and bubbles …That’s how you make bubble juice.”

Now how good is that on a chilly day, yesterday the wind was blowing, there were clouds in the sky and no sun, its 15', and the same weather is due today - Mummy is wearing a thick jumper to school today and I am going to be wearing a coat to nursery!

Shains house

So I didn't get to post last night as mummy and daddy went out with their friends whilst I got to stay at Shain's house, Shain had her friend Nina around as well and I really wound Shain up, as I took round Stitch (who most of you will know I am very protective of, and sleep with every night since I was 3months old, he used to be bigger than me but now I'm bigger than him (just), mummy has had to re-stuff him 3 times already) and Scorch (a blue soft cuddle dragon Shain bought me for my birthday, now I have to sleep with both of them every night), I let Nina play with them BUT not Shain I think she will take them as she only has James, and her bed is a lot bigger than mine so there is more space in there for stitch but she's not having him. I tried really hard not to fall asleep at Shain's house just in case she took advantage, and stole them, I even asked Nina to stay so that she would keep an eye on me and more importantly Stitch and Scorch.

Together we watched Toy story 3 and played loads of games, but in Toy story 3 there is a naughty boy (and this is the quote of the day) I pointed him out to Nina and said "he's talking with his mouth full that's naughty, I don't talk with my mouth full" and even Shain backed me up on that I don't talk with my mouth full.
