Madagasca 3

Today has been one of the best ever, daddy is great and I love him loads. First I woke up after a bit of a lay in and got daddy out of bed, then we had a nice breakfast and then I had a lovely long bath, all of this is good but the day just got better and better, because next daddy took me for a drive and when we got to the mall, we went somewhere I've never been. Daddy took me to the cinema and we saw the new Madagascar film and I loved it, there is some really funny bits and I keep singing the Afro circus song. He also let me have popcorn and sprite - I must have been a good boy as he never lets me have sprite. I was so happy when the film had ended I didn't even complain when we had to do some boring shopping. After all that we went home for lunch, I had to tell Grace and Amelia all about Madagascar first, and while I was doing that there daddy asked if I wanted to go to the splash park, so I ate all my lunch. So we spent the rest of the day there, we all had a fun afternoon and before we knew it they were closing and we had to go home for dinner, I had meatballs and chips which were the best as I helped daddy make them.

Mummy's gone away

This morning I got up early as I wasn't to sure mummy had gone on her trip, but she had so it's just me and daddy for the next few days, which is OK. But I can't wait until its just me and mummy (in England) as I spend loads of time with daddy. In the morning was good we didn't do very much, but then Abdullah got dropped off by his mummy, so the day got a lot better. After a bit of playing in the flat we got in the car and went to one of the mall play areas - where we played in the soft play for ages and daddy chased us around we had loads of fun, then when we were done daddy got us some ice cream. Back home we had lunch and played until Abdullah's mummy came to pick him up. Me and daddy then chilled out watching Ice Age 3, before we went to the garden and played with Amelia, I stayed there until daddy said it was time for T3Bs.

Neo - "Has mummy gone on her trip?"
Daddy - "Yes"
Neo - "That means we go on holiday soon"

Bit from mummy - Mummy says that shockingly Brussels is very hot today and that Matt (mummies friend) and her are boiling as neither of them took shorts or flip flops but they did take jumpers, mummy was looking forward to some rain and drizzle but looks like she has shared some of your sun in Belguim. Mummy says that her and Matt have spent the day chilling out and doing the tourist things, they have had loads of mussels, a big waffle, a some wheat beer. She that tomorrow her course starts so she hopes she sleeps tonight as they have been up now for 43hours (straight), with not even a nightclub or festival in sight.

 

Mummys last day

Today's been a bit of a strange one not really done much, woke as usual mummy went to work and had breakfast, then after a little while me and daddy went off to see the nice doctor - who said I'm all better and that I can go on holiday, she gave me some special cream for the scratch on my arm as well. After we were done there we had to go off to a posh gallery to pick up artwork mummy ordered, but the lady said they were still in Dubai, so daddy had to phone mummy and tell her, I'm glad I didn't have to tell her, it is the sort of thing that makes her mad and a mad mummy isn't someone you want to see. Well the lady promised to get them to the school before 3:00 as that's when mummy needed them. Next went home to get spot so he can go on his holiday, we took him to mummy's school as he is going on holiday with one of mummy's friends, I think he'll have a good time. I will tell him all about our holidays when we get back. After some lunch me and daddy made another cake and I chilled out watching one of my films. Then daddy got a phone call from mummy saying that she needed our help to tidy up her room as today is her last day of the school year, we had loads to do and I think its lucky we were able to help or she would be there all night, which wouldn't be any good as she would miss her plane as she is off to Belgium for a five days apparently she need to go and learn stuff, so she knows what to do next year. I think I'll miss her for the next few days but the day she gets back we all go on our holidays to Sri Lanka - to see all the wildlife, I am looking froward to the elephants the most.

Big School Tour

Only a week until we go on holiday, so now it's time to do the last few things and get ready for next year. Today's job was to have a tour of big school, so I know where everything is and get all my questions answered, so me and daddy walked over to the school and a nice lady showed us where all the classes for children my age and we went into a few, they are a bit like my nursery class but bigger there all divided up into different areas - a painting bit, a reading bit, a dressing up bit, there were other bits but these are the only one's I'm interested in. Next the lady took us out to the playground that's just for the children like me (the bigger ones have there own one), and its a bit like the classrooms (but bigger) and there are bikes sand play and water play too, the lady then showed us the soft play room which looks lots of fun, I hope I get lots of time in there. We then went into another class where my friend Sophia was, she said hello and we followed her class to the dining room that all the children my size use. After that we went to see the swimming pool, it is not the biggest BUT I'll get to go there every week. That was about it for the tour but I did get to go upstairs and see mummy who had a load of her kiddies painting a wall, it was good to see mummy but we had to come home. I think I'm going to enjoy my new school, especially as I'll get to go swimming every week. After we got home me and daddy got changed and then we went down to the beach to meet Amelia and Nicky. We had lunch, did a bit of swimming and generally chilled out down there until it was time to get back home, when we got there I helped daddy make a lemon cake, then we had to help mummy bring a big bag home from school (it was too heavy and daddy had to use his muscles to carry it), then it was getting on for the usual T3B's.

Last day at nursery :(

First of all congratulations to Ellie and Andy (our neighbors upstairs), who had their baby boy ZACK yesterday, and he was even bigger then me (only just he weighed 8lb 8oz and I weighed 8lb 4oz), I can't wait to see him. 

Today was a sad day, it was my last day at nursery and that means I won't see Miss Jo again and I'm going to miss her - she has been a great teacher, luckily quite a lot of my friends will be going to the same big school as me in September, so I'll still see them. I got up early so me and daddy could be at nursery on time, we had to wrap up Miss Jo's presents, get dressed and all the usual stuff - but made it on time - Miss Jo liked her presents and I had a really good day and made a necklace for mummy. I was sad when daddy came to pick me up as it was the last time I'd be at nursery. When we got home Amelia came up to play with me and when Grace got home from school she came up too. we all played for ages and when they went home. I decided that bad Neo should come out, so when daddy made my dinner I had another one of my long stand offs complete with crying, screaming,  shouting, I thought this would help Ellie and Andy know what they to expect when Zack gets as big as me.

I'll pay mummy ...

Last night was another late one, so I have written this morning. Well I had a great long sleep and daddy had to wake me up to get ready in time for nursery, I had another great day thou when daddy picked me up I was still very tired and wanted to sleep but daddy didn't let me :(, but he did make a special cake for me and it was yummy, lets hope he makes loads more. When mummy got home from work we all went out as I wanted to get a present for Miss Jo, and we needed to get some of my uniform for when I go to mummy's BIG school, its really nice and I look all smart in it and now I'm looking forward to starting big school (and tomorrow I am having a tour of my new school). By the time we got back it was very late so I didn't have time to do my blog, hopefully I'll have time to my blog tonight.

Today it was time to get naughty Neo out again as he's not been around much for a while. I started with a nice early wake up for mummy and daddy (4:00am), then every half hour until daddy gave up and got me some breakfast, before getting me dressed for Quinn's party, his party was good we went swimming in his pool and played lots of games, there was lots of people (I didn't know but there was one girl from my nursery although she is not in my class). On the way home daddy let me have a little sleep, but I wanted a lot more, so this is when REALLY bad Neo came out, I started kicking off with both mummy and daddy over everything they asked or told me to do, screaming, shouting and generally being horrible. Luckily just as things were looking really bad Abdullah and his mummy came to the door like a super hero - to rescue mummy and daddy from EVIL Neo. They took me away and left mummy and daddy to recover, as normal (I was the perfect little boy with Abdullah's family), we went to a play area so we could have lots of fun, I was saving Evil Neo for when I got home. Mummy and daddy came to pick us all up as Abdullah's daddy was busy, this put me out of my stride and had to continue been good until we said goodbye to Abdullah. Once I'd done that it was back to being an Evil Villain which ended with a 2 hour stand off over dinner, I did give in eventually but I'll remember, they may have won this battle but I'll win the war over the next 15 years.

Two parties in one day

Today was another busy one so I got up nice and early (5:00am) not that mummy and daddy liked it, I thought it was good as we had a lot to do, so an early start would help but they kept telling me to go back to bed, not that I did. Eventualy mummy got up and left daddy in bed, we had fun and had breakfast. Then when daddy got up we all ran around getting ready to go to mummy's work lunch thing, but when we got in the car it didn't work so mummy got our neighbour 'Umesh', him and daddy tried to fix it while me and mummy went to see Abullah, after a while daddy came to get us as the car was fixed, so off we went to get some cards for all the partys we are going to. Daddy stayed in the car and didn't turn it off he said something about a battery in the car, it must take loads my computer takes 4 and the car is massive. When we got to the lunch thing there were loads of people from mummy's school there and lots of the children to, we all had lots of nice food and there was a room where all the children went so the grown ups could sit around talking - whilst we watched tv and played games. After ages, it was time to go to my friend Mathilda's party the fun part of the day, this time the car started - so daddy must have done a good job. Well here party was good and lots of my nursery friends were there, we played lots of fun games and had some food then all wnet to play in a big dress up room where I was a fireman and a police man, I had lots of fun and then at the end we all got goody bags. Then it was time to go home, but the car didn't start, daddy didn't do a good job after all - mummy called a man who came after a while and got the car working again, then daddy said we should go and get a new battery as that would fix the car, he says silly things sometimes he's always telling me cars use petrol, so why does it need a new batteries? Well we drove to the part of Abu Dhabi where all the fixer men work and found someone who did some work on the engine, but while the man was fixing it daddy noticed that one of the tyres got a hole in it so the fixer man helped fix that as well, mummy and daddy said he was nice and would come back next time there is a problen with the car. By now it was well past the time to go home to bed.

Nursery party ...

After yesterdays adventures, today had a lot to live up to, it is a nursery day but it's a special one we had a party as for most of us next week is our last week at nursery before going to BIG school in September (a couple of my class and friends are going to be with me at mummies school). So we had lots of fun, I had my face painted like a tiger, we made a big chocolate cake which we all ate up - I like chocolate cake.

At the end of nursery Amelia's mummy picked me up - I don't know why but daddy said something about mummy needing the car, but it did mean I get to play at Amelia's for a while daddy came down stairs so we could continue playing while her mummy went and got Grace from school.We had fun jumping on daddy while he was trying to tickle us. After Grace got back we watched a film about a sponge called bob until daddy said it was time to go home for T3Bs.

Daddy - "No, it is at nursery"
Neo - "Can we change it then, I want to go back there"

Daddy had a lay in this morning I don't know why, I only got up once and I managed to get up before mummy went to work. Well daddy got up and did my breakfast, then we got ready to go out and meet some of my friends. Quinn didn't make it today, but Max and Reis did which was good especially as I've not seen Max for ages and this was the last chance before they go on there summer holiday, we all met up at the play area in Marina mall, this was good as I've never been to that play area before, it's big and we played in the soft play before going on some rides, when we were finished we all said goodbye as we probably will not see each other until August/September. Me and daddy then went home to have some lunch, before we had to go and see the doctor to get rid of my nasty cough, the doctor didn't put any holes in me today, but she did give me an x-ray - I got to see all inside me, I could see all my bones and my heart and some other stuff, she said I was alright and I'll be OK to go on holiday but she has given me lots more medicines (the doctors like to give out medicine, mummy says that its because the insurance companies pay for everything as oppose to the NHS) today she prescribed me:

Back to work and nursery after our long weekend, but we've only got this week and next until we go on our holidays. A nice start with daddy before going to nursery. Nursery was good and it was great to catch up with my friends, though I can't believe I've only got 3 more nursery days, then I'll be at mummy's school in September. Daddy timed picking me up well, we were just coming down to the play room as he came through the door. On the way home we had to do some boring food shopping, but when we got home me and daddy did some drawing and I did some cutting out with my new scissors, I like these as I'm allowed to use them unlike mummy's big ones - I always get told off, if I get them. Later on I went down to Grace and Amelia's to see what they had been up to as I've not seen them for ages, we ended up watching some strange film about someone with square pants, daddy said it looks like a load of rubbish. When we went back upstairs and mummy was home, so I played with her until T3Bs.

Bank holiday Sunday ...

After a few bad nightS sleep I decided it was time I had a good one, so last night was nice and long with no wake ups, I think mummy and daddy liked this as well. When I did get up (8am) daddy got out of bed and we left mummy to have more sleep. We played and had breakfast then when mummy got up we all got ready to go out, because today is an Islamic holiday, which means mummy didn't have to go to school, so we all went to a hotel to swim and just enjoy the day in the sun, I did loads of swimming and looked all wrinkled by the time mummy and daddy decided we had to go home. We got home just in time for T3Bs, so no wonder I was all wrinkly.

Summer fun

 

 

 

 

Today has been brilliant, started with all the usual but after a bath and getting dressed, me and daddy went for a drive and ended up at some place I've never been to before, it's near the leaning building. After parking we walked in to the big building with some other people and then I started to see some mummy's and children which I reconised from various Abu Dhabi Mummy things, we have been to. After walking to where everyone else was I got to go on a train with daddy, it took us for a little ride around the building, when we got off, we hung around with everyone else and had drinks, cakes and popcorn, while lots of people with cameras took photos and made films, then some one said it was time to go in and we all ran in to a big hall together, and in the hall was loads of fun stuff, first there was all the characters from Ice Age, and a big area that looked like the Ice Age film but even better as it had loads of games to play, there was also a big assault course which I loved and did 3 times (some of the people working there didn't believe that I was only 3 as I was good and not scared even thou it was up high), after that I played lots of games - daddy said there like the stalls you get at fairs in England, but there wasn't any goldfish and daddy said he won goldfish playing it in England. We went to see some Sea Lions next and they did lots of tricks and were funny. The next thing was not very good thou I thought it would be fun but it was scary, it was a big jump thing where you jump off a platform near the roof (almost 3 floors up) and land on a big bag (full of air) that looks like a bouncy castle, I liked the look of it but when we got up to the top I thought daddy should go first, he did but I decided it was a bit too scary - the man there said I was the bravest 3 year old he knew even to think about doing it. Next we played some more games and I got to play on a big climbing frame with lots of slides, Abdullah and his daddy turned up at this point so I got to do loads more with him, the next big thing was an ice skating show of the Cinderella which was really good the people doing it are really good skaters, and 2 of them even flew over our heads. After that I took Abdullah to the assault course and the big jump as I thought I'd give it another go and climbed all the way to the top, but in the end only daddy did it again. That was about it for there as we had to get home to mummy. When we got home mummy said we were going out again to see one of her friends from school, they live in a big house with a pool but I couldn't go in the pool today (as the pool man had just been and added chemicals to it, why didn't they tell him I was coming) so I'm coming back soon, they also have a little dog 'Coco' who is really friendly, me and mummy wanted to take her but daddy said no. I don't know what mummy and daddy got up to as I spent the whole time there playing upstairs with the dog and their little girl 'Aileen' until it was time to go home.

Yummy ...

 I had a bad night again and not sure mummy daddy liked it, daddy stayed in bed for ages this morning, luckily mummy got up to play, when daddy got up we all went shopping as daddy was cooking a lovely roast, daddy spent a long time in the kitchen, making our dinner, and just before it was ready Abdullah and his parents came to join us so we all had dinner together which was nice, daddy did one of his specials lamb leg stuffed with spinach and apricot, Everyone liked it and mummy made some mini banoffee pies which were yummy too, I got to play with Abdullah while all the grown ups sat around talking, it was a good afternoon. When Abdullah had to go home me mummy and daddy went to some shops to get some stuff for our holiday. Hopefully I'll have a good night as I need it and mummy deserves a good night too.

I'm a maths genius

Today was back to nursery and I forgot that I normally lay in, so got up just after mummy and daddy, which was good as it meant I got to see mummy before she went to school. Today daddy didn't take me, I got a lift with Abdullah and his daddy, which was good as I've not seen him for ages. At nursery we didn't have splash play today so I wasn't too happy, we had a thing about making sure we all wear our seat belts in the car, as not wearing them is very dangerous, I didn't need this as I always have to wear mine any way and would rather have played in the water. Abdullah's parents picked me up as well and I didn't go home - I went to his house for a bit so we could play, but Abdullah had to go boring shopping after a while so I went home to daddy where I just wanted to sleep, but daddy was nasty and wouldn't let me, even thou I promised to go to bed when I was meant to, sometimes I don't like my daddy. Luckily mummy came home not much later, she's nice so I spent time with her and actually forgot I was tired, until it was time for dinner then I remembered and took as long as I could, mucking about until I finished by which time daddy had made me a bath, so I woke up all over again to play in the bath as it is one of my favourite times, but too quickly mummy said it was time to get out and ready for bed.

Yesterday I ran out of time again, mummy and daddy should let me stay up later and I would do this everyday. The morning wasn't to exciting all the usual, but me and daddy did go to the Abu Dhabi mums group again, where I got to play loads and daddy got to drink lots of coffee, in all it was an OK morning, but when Abdullah got home from nursery his mummy phoned daddy and asked if I wanted to go over to play, that's a silly question especially as I'd just got in a little bit of trouble for been cheeky to daddy and it was a good reason to get away from him. So off I went and had a great time playing firemen with Abdullah, and watching 'the cat in the hat' film, its just like the books (but you don't need a mummy or daddy to read it to you). Half way through the film daddy came to get me but Abdullah and his mummy came to, we all got in the car with my mummy and went to the beach where we spent the rest of the day swimming and building sand castles.

Neo - "Mummy I love our cuddles, I don't like it when you fo to work that why I cuddle you around your legs so you can't leave"

Birthday

Today was nursery but we didn't do proper cooking, which is a shame as I like cooking, but what we did instead is try all the things the hungry caterpillar eats in the book, as we are doing all about growing things at the moment and he grows lots, after nursery I went with daddy to mummy's school so I could play the drums, which I did but they were back in the small room again not on the stage, I had a good time though and before long it was time to go home and pack my bag as I'm staying at Abdullah's tonight and will tell you all about it tomorrow.

Daddy - "Are you not going to do what I've asked you to do today?"

Fun Fun Fun

Yesterday was a nursery day, had another good one there, and daddy came to pick me up then when we got home we played until mummy came home. But she went straight out I wasn't happy about this as I wanted to go with her. So I just went outside with daddy, which ended up been really good as Abdullah came down as well and then after a while all the other children who live here came out as well and we all ended playing till it was late, so late I didn't write my blog for you all to read, not that I did much to tell you all about.

Well to today, I got up and had to drag mummy and daddy out of bed, there always tired at the moment. After mummy went to work, me and daddy mucked about for a while then got ready to go out as we were meeting some of my friends at the bowling alley for some fun and games. It was me Quinn and Reis, and we had a good go at bowling, daddy did some and for a change he was really good I don't think mummy would believe his score, but I'm sure its only a one off. After our game was finished Quinn had to go home, but me and Reis played on some of the games there including the air hockey where we had a good tight game which ended 3-3 a good result, but I'm going to win next time. After that we went upstairs for lunch - we had some chicken spring roll's with chicken and prawn fried rice it was lovely and I think we should go there with mummy one day. I had a little day sleep on the way home as daddy was nice and let me for a change, after daddy woke me up we did some drawing and colouring and just played a bit. Next thing I knew mummy had come home, we all went to the garden where loads of other children came out and we played for ages, and now I have just written this so that has been my busy day today.
