White Temple

Today we finally made it to the number 1 thing to see whilst in Chiang Rai, The White Temple. The Temple totally lived up to all of the hype, you have to enter through hell, then over a bridge of troubled waters, before entering the Temple. In the Temple sits two Buddhas and a monk on the far side of the entrance with a neverending spiritual painting of a monk growing up around the walls apart from the inner wall which leads back out to hell, on that wall was painted all the negatives in life, including a naughty Minon, Terminator, Micheal Jackson, Freddie Kruger, Jigsaw and so many more. Today we had a very small downpour which was fantastic as it cleared a few people who were about leaving a rare empty Temple to be photographed, BONUS, these photos really do not do it justice.
