Sleep over . . .

No post yesterday, I had a sleep over at my friend Abdullah nannies house and didn't have a chance to blog to you all. Well Friday morning started with me winding up mummy and daddy, I was just SO excited to be going to Abdullah's and wanted mummy and daddy to just hurry up and get ready so I could go. When we finally got there, Abdullah's family were getting ready to go to the mosque, and once I'd put my bag away, off we went (Shain - I have now been to a mosque for a service, are you proud of me?). After the mosque we went to marina mall for some lunch and lots of fun in the play area, after we were finished we went back to Abdullah's nannies house, where we played some more before T&3B', when we went to bed me and Abdullah were trying to have a proper sleep over with a lot of chat and not much sleep when we finally decided to go to sleep we heard a loud scream so we both got up to investigate, which is when Abdullah's mummy told us that Abdullah's cousin had stood on a cat, neither me nor Abdullah believed this, we both said "She stood on a cat???", who stands on a cat - anyway we were both tired so we went back to bed and slept.

Saturday - this morning I woke up at Abdullah's nannies house and had weetabix for breakfast, after breakfast me and Abdullah went into the garden and picked some tomatoes for Abdullah's nanny. Then after a morning of play and lunch we went over to Abdullah's friend Lauren house, she was really nice and I especially liked playing with her 'Thomas the tank' engine trains and swimming in her pool. After this we went and got some tea, me and abdullah were so tired after our busy weekend.

So I came home to see MY mummy and daddy, they were really happy to see me, I was happy to see them too BUT I did ask if I could go back to Abdullah's nannies house after only about 10 minutes of being with mummy and daddy, hehe, I really like Abdullah and his family, mummy and daddy said that I am allowed to have a sleep over at my house, so I am going to ask Abdullah's mummy if Abdullah can came and stay here with me.

Domino effect ...

Daddy wasn't awake when I got up this morning (only mummy), and mummy went to school soon after I got up - so I just had to go and get daddy out of bed, I started by shouting 'mummy mummy' even thou I knew she'd gone then when I got bored of that I just went in to mummy and daddy's bedroom and got on the bed and jumped up and down, poked daddy, tickled daddy, and shouted at him until he FINALLY got the message. After some more annoying him I decided I'd better be nice as I wanted to go swimming, and if I just annoy him he might not let me go. So off we went to the swimming pool where my friend Andrew works, he was swimming already when we arrived so I just got on with it and used my new float to do loads of proper swimming, I even did a load on my back, which daddy says I don't do enough of (but I did loads of it today to make up for it), even Andrew was impressed. A bit later Andrew was having a lesson on how to jump in from the blocks, he should have asked me as he knows I jump in from everywhere, he was doing some funny way where you go in hands first, doesn't he know your meant to go in feet first? After swimming daddy had to get a hair cut and I just had lunch and chatted with the men in the barber shop, one of them was a bit silly and kept saying we were in Dubai not Abu Dhabi (I know we where we live so I was trying to tell him, silly man). Well I had a day sleep in the car and daddy let me sleep a bit when we got home too. When daddy woke me up, we had fun running around the flat and me hiding daddy's not very good at finding me so this game can last ages. Then we went to the garden and mummy came home I hardly even got a go on the swing and we had to go out to a strange shop - there was loads of material all wrapped around tubes they were all stacked up like domino's so I decided to see if they worked the same so I tried and they did, I pushed one over and they all started to fall down - whilst I did this mummy bought herself two sari's for Shain's wedding.

Holes in me :( ...

Today was quite good for me, it started with the usual winding up of daddy by not eating my breakfast, I say not eating but I did actually eat it but made sure I took as long as possible over it I think one and a half hours for a slice of toast isn't too bad. When I was finished with that and got dressed we got the kitten out of the maids room and took him down to Nicky - as she was taking him to the cat rescue centre, so they can make him all big and strong, though he kept escaping from the box and trying to play and run, I like him as he's cheeky like me. After we gave him to Nicky, we went to see a doctor as daddy says I need some special medicine, the doctor was very nice but said we have to go back for more medicine for Shain's wedding, BUT I've never needed medicine for any of the other weddings I've been to, so I'm not sure what the doctor means maybe she just wants to see me again. When we got around to the medicine bit I wasn't so happy as the medicine isn't the stuff I normally get at home, as it was an injection. I know I'm a big boy but it did hurt just a little bit, I didn't cry I just said 'ouch' and took my sticker. After all that I decided I was going to give daddy a nasty afternoon as he said the doctor wouldn't hurt, it didn't hurt much but I'm not going to let daddy know that. So when he made lunch I decided that I would eat it REALLLLLY slowly, it took me over three hours to eat a sandwich (which is a new record for me). After my 3 hour lunch, we went down to the garden to end the day on a good note, If daddy's good I might be good for him tomorrow.

Pony club, this morning I decided that I'd been to easy on mummy and daddy so (my split personality)  VERY naughty Neo came out of my bedroom and just ignored everything they said or asked me to do. Mummy got off easy as she went to school, so I gave daddy a double dose, not sure he liked it but he's not seen that side of me for a while and its good to keep him on his toes. Once we arrived at Pony club I reverted back to good 'butter would not melt' Neo just to make daddy think he had gone mad, I think this is funny not sure he does thou. I had a good time with my friends as usual, and even got a photo of my new friend Quinn and me playing on one of the toy pony's that are in the playground there. After we were finished me and daddy gave Max, his sister, and mummy a lift to the mall, as we had to take mummy's camera back because the man still hasn't fixed it properly, they need to otherwise mummy will be very cross, I think the man at the shop is very lucky that it is daddy that has been dropping it off and collecting it otherwise he would have to deal with mummy in a bad mood, and trust me when I tell you all she is scary when she is in a mood. After we got home and had lunch me and daddy went to the garden to play, and I found a little kitten who has lost his mummy, he was very small and very hungry, so I made daddy take him up to ours and give him some milk and chicken, I'm not sure daddy would have if I wasn't there so its a good job I was, once the kitten was fed daddy said he had to go back down to the garden, I wanted to keep him but daddy says we are not allowed cats so we took him outside, we carried on playing and keeping an eye on the kitten. When mummy came home she saw the kitten and decided we had to take him to the cat rescue but they were shut so now we are looking after him until the morning.

Not a very exciting start to the day mummy had already gone to school before I got up, so I got ready and went to nursery, nursery was fine and daddy came to get me at the end of the day, then we went home and I played cars with daddy for a bit, but then his phone started ringing and he just left me playing on my own, which I thought was quite rude. But then he came back and asked if I wanted to go out to a playarea with Abdullah , I said "yes am I going without you?" I hoped so as it would make up for him been rude to me, he could stay here and clean and I'll go and play. So off me, Abdullah and Amoona (Abdullah's mummy) went - off to Delma mall - to the play area to go on all the rides like the river ride, and play some games, I think we wore Amoona out as it was getting late when we left for T&3B's. When we got home dinner was ready and I really liked it, daddy said it was something called 'fajitas' they're good as you put all different things in a bread thing then wrap it up and eat it they are lovely and I don't know why daddy hasn't cooked them before, but I want them again soon.

On the way home from nursery daddy was asking me about my day:

Daddy - "Did you have a story today?"
Neo - "Yes it was one of Miss Jo's new ones"
Daddy - " Do you know what it was?"
Neo - "I don't know"
Daddy - "What happened in it?"
Neo - "I don't know"
Daddy - "Oh"
Neo - "It's a dictionary"
Daddy - "Really?"
Neo - "A dictionary, is a really thick book"

The weekend is over (so back to nursery), I still can't get my head into this going to nursery on a Sunday, but as its the same for everyone in Abu Dhabi its not to strange. Today started well I had a great nights sleep and woke up ready for a good day, after breakfast me and daddy went to get Abdullah so we could all go to nursery. When we got there Miss Jo was back from England YEAHHHH, she said she had a good time but that the weather wasn't as nice as it is here. After nursery we went home and played in the garden until Abdullah's mummy got home from work, then we all went to his house for some tea and an afternoon of playing until it cooled down a bit outside, then we went out to join Grace and Amelia.

Whilst Neo was having poached egg on toast.

Neo - "Mummy, How do a mummy and daddy ducks get an egg with a baby duck in it?"
Mummy - "Well the mummy duck and daddy duck make a nest, then the mummy duck seats on it then she has an egg, which has a baby duck in it."
Neo - "No but mummy how do they get the baby duck egg?"
Mummy - "They get one because they love each other"
Neo - "But HOW do they get the egg?"

Good news or bad news?

I was really good this morning, mummy and daddy said I should not get them up till late, so for a change I didn't I just played in my room and the front room until almost 9:00am, now that's a real lay in for them - so I hope there happy about it, they should be. More bad news mummy has to go in to school again (but at least today was only for a hour), I think I'm going to go and tell them that she has to be with me at weekends so no more school at a weekend PLEASE. After mummy went to school me and daddy went to the Abu Dhabi Mums table top sale, and I got a load of new cars so that made up for no mummy, and when we got home mummy was there that made me very very very happy. I showed her all my cars and we had some fun with them, after lunch we had to go and do some boring shopping but I had fun and kept running off and hiding, I like this as it makes mummy and daddy all worried, their funny like that. When we got home Abdullah was in the garden, so I went to play with him until it was time for T&3B's.

Early on this morning mummy used the saying 'Do you want the good news or the bad news' to let me know she was going to school, from then on I've been using it ALL day.

Neo - "Do you want the good news or the bad news?"
Mummy - "The good news"
Neo - "I've only got bad news"

Neo - "What news do you want?"
Mummy - "What is there?"
Neo - "Good news, bad news, rudey nudey news or wiggley news?"
Mummy - "What is rudey nudey news? or wiggley news?"
Neo - "Rudey nudey news is that I took all my pajamas off this morning when I woke up, so I was rudey nudey all morning"
Mummy - "And the wiggley news?"
Neo -  "That's because my bum goes ..." (I say as I wiggle my bum)

Its not fair ...

This morning I got up early - as it's the weekend and I couldn't wait to spend it with mummy as she has had to be at school all week (so I don't get to see her as much as I should), Mummy and Daddy were not so happy to see me and told me to go back to my room and stay there until it was day time, I was awake so as far as I'm concerned it was day time, but they kept saying it's not day until the sun comes out, what do they know. I did what they asked for a bit as they'd only get funny if I don't, but I got bored and bugged mummy until she put a DVD on for me (Timmy Time) to entertain me until they bothered to get up. While waiting I got a bit hungry so helped myself to mummy's yoghurt, she would only let me have a little bit if she was up so thought I'd take advantage while I could and ate most of it (it WAS one of those big ones). When eventually they got up and came to give my some bad news, mummy was going in to school today. I am not happy about this as it means I've got to spend another day with daddy. But guess I'll just have to get on with it. There was some good news too as daddy said me, him, Grace, Amelia and their daddy (Martin) would be going to the family park, so once we were ready we all got in our car to drop mummy at school and drove to the park. When we got there I went straight to the splash park my favorite part of the park, Grace and Amelia haven't been here before and I think they both liked it to but Amelia was suppose to stay dry (hehe) so she got in to trouble but she got over that, but her daddy took her and Grace to a different part of the park so she didn't get in any more trouble, I stayed in the splash park for a bit longer playing with some other children until me and daddy decided to find Martin and the girls and have some lunch, after lunch we all played in the park for a bit but it was very hot so we didn't stay for long. When we got home I went for a little day sleep, I'm not sure what daddy did but I did notice that the flat was bit cleaner, when I was finished sleeping me and daddy went to the garden as mummy still wasn't home and we stayed there until she did, and then I finally got to spend some time with her.

Neo (to mummy) -  "Why do school want you again? it's my turn to be with my mummy?"

Wrinkly me ...

So I let mummy and daddy lay in for a bit, but it was boring so I kept bugging them until mummy got up (at 6.30pm) and let daddy have some more sleep. I got to watch a new DVD with mummy I really liked it, its got dragons in it (called Dragon Hunters), mummy says its a bit strange, but I like it. When daddy got up I got him to make me some breakfast as I decided the toast mummy made wasn't very nice, I had changed my mind and now wanted porridge. After the breakfast and getting dressed stuff, I took some coke and eggs down to Nicky as she wasn't feeling very well. After dropping the eggs and coke me, mummy, and daddy want off to Yas island to one of the hotels so I could spend the day swimming in the nice pool, I had a great time and I think mummy and daddy did too. I went all wrinkly by the time I went home, mummy said it was because I was in the pool for 5 hours.

Nudey rudey ...

Today - Daddy said I could go to the hotel, so I was really good for daddy just in case he changed his mind, we got ready really quickly to make sure we got as much time there as possible, as daddy said he had to get back to school to play football when mummy's school finished. When we got there it wasn't like when my 'pretties' were there as we were the only people, more people did come later on and I even got to play with some other children when I got bored of daddy. But before that we had a great time, we did loads of swimming, I even swam in the sea which I don't normally (as I don't like the salt in the water). We found lots of crabs, but daddy made me let them go, I wanted to take them home to show mummy.  I think we should go there more often as it's really good.

Neo - "If you go in the sun rudey nudey, then you will get a sun burnt willy"
Mummy - "But your not allowed to go sun bathing rudey nudey in Abu Dhabi"
Neo - "Well, If there's sun in the toilet I'd get a sun burnt willy, and would need to put cream on it"

FACTion ...

I didn't want to do anything today, well that's not really true I wanted to go to the hotel where the pretties stayed but daddy said no, so daddy says I've been sulking for the whole day, but I have had loads of fun. after breakfast we went shopping to get me some paint brushes and some paper, so when we got home I could do some paintings for mummy, I also did lots of reading with daddy and had a long time out in the garden playing with everyone. Then to finish the day I made my own pizza for dinner with sausages, chips and olives all over it was really yummy.

Neo - "Is this book fiction?"
Daddy - "Yes, that's a big word where did you learn it?"
Neo - "Miss Jo taught me, and did you know if a books is not fiction it's FACTion?"

Eva comes to pony club ...

Pony club - I decided I've had enough lay ins this week, so got up with mummy and daddy, although daddy can't work out how we are always late when I am suppose to get up early, but when I get up late I'm ready to go in record time (No-one tell him but I just think it's fun winding him up and see him get stressed about silly things sometimes). We got there OK, so I don't know what all the fuss was about, I had a good time all the gang were there today, but I took 'Eva' bunny as well so she could have a go on the pony's, all the mummy's loved Eva and some of my friends did to.As usual we were the last to leave. After pony club me and daddy went to a mall to get mummy's camera, I don't understand why the shop has it as mummy bought it ages ago she should keep it - she always tells me off for leaving my things in shops - the man in the shop had it apparently to do something to it. We went to the playarea after and I won 2 races on the motorbike game. Then we went and got lunch and as usual I got loads of attention and even got kisses from all the school girls, daddy never gets kisses from the girls hahaha. On the way home we went to a park and I banged my head daddy made it all better with a cuddle but also said it didn't count as there was no blood, there wasn't any blood but it did really hurt - mummy says I have a big black lump.

Neo - "Daddy, if it doesn't count if there's no blood,, why is it naughty to hit people, that doesn't get blood out?"

No Scooby Doo :(

After another night of waking up alot, daddy has decided I won't be able to watch some of my favourite TV programs (Scooby Doo, my new film 'Dragon Hunters'), something about me waking up because my dreams have been all about the baddies, not sure I agree but I'll go along with it for a while. So after a night of waking I didn't want to get up this morning, daddy had to wake me so we could get to nursery on time. I had a good time again today and when daddy came to get me I was playing in the soft play room and kept hiding so he couldn't find me let alone get me, I was having loads of fun and didn't want to go home. When we got home me and daddy had a nice time vegging and I did a drawing of daddy (it must be good as even mummy liked it, and she's not like normal mummies who stick everything up on the fridge I have to do a really good piece otherwise she just files it in some big black file- which I've never seen???) and showed him how well my writing is coming along. When I got bored of being inside, we went down to the garden and played with Abdullah, Amelia and Grace (when mummy came home she said it looked like it was going to rain, I don't know how she knew but it started almost straight away, it only lasted for a couple of minutes), we continued to play until it was time to go in and have T&3Bs, Tea was one of my favourites smoked salmon risotto.

Neo - "I'm not like you daddy, I'm clever like mummy"

Sunday - So the weekend is over and its back to nursery. Although I decided last night that daddy has had too much sleep in the last few days so I kept waking up just to keep him on his toes, and he did alright getting me back to sleep quickly each time. Nursery was good even though Miss Jo isn't in this week as she is back in England for a wedding, me and my friends all had a good day and were nice to our temporary teachers. Because it is Sunday me and daddy get to take and pick up Abdullah so after a very long drive home, Daddy says the road works are causing chaos, we went straight into the garden with Amelia and all had a fun few hours playing until Mummy came home and then it was time, for T and 3B's (tea, bath, book bed), and now I decided Mummy and Daddy have had it easy for a while now so I got out my horrible naughty side and ignored everything they said until it was time to say good night.

Daddy to Mummy - "Do you have any plans for the weekend?"
Neo  - before mummy had a chance to answer "Yes, I'm going to England to clean it as its dirty"

Service's Day

I got back really late last night and went straight to bed, so I never had time to blog yesterday. Today I decided me and daddy should go swimming, as we've not been for a few weeks, so after a lot of faffing about by daddy we went back to the big pool, I think the men who work there have missed me as they looked very happy to see me (and they liked my Arsenal top), I did lots of proper swimming as daddy calls it - he says I've been doing to much silly swimming with all my grandparents - its not as much fun as silly swimming, but daddy did let me do some silly stuff after lots of the proper swimming. After lunch I had a day sleep (as swimming is sooo tiring), then it was time to go and get mummy and for daddy to go to play football, he says he plays football but he doesn't look anything like the footballers on TV. While he was off running around chasing a football me and mummy went to the garden to play with all my friends.

Neo -"Look ..." (I showed daddy a baby birds feather)
Neo - "I think ..."
Neo - "Well when a baby bird flew up to his mummy this fell down and he flew down and looked for it but he shouldn't find it in the grass ... But we came down here and found it hiding."
Neo - "Did you know that?"

1st Nose bleed ...

Today is Friday so its the weekend, but unfortunately as there are some people coming to look at mummies school in 2 weeks time she had to go into school today, which I didn't like because I like spending the weekends with her (daddy gets a bit boring - I have to be with him all the time). But I made the most of today anyway, first I let mummy have her weekend lay in as I'm nice like that, then when she was ready to go into work I walked her there, as I don't get to do that during the week and it makes her feel better about going in. After lunch me, daddy, Nicky, Grace and Amelia, went to the beach - where we had loads of fun until there was an accident, I got banged on the nose and got my first ever nose bleed, everyone looked worried apart from daddy, who just took me to the little police station, the ladies in there cleaned me up and made it stop bleeding, so I could carry on playing as normal. After lots of the usual fun and games, it was time to go home and see mummy, I missed her today.

Dubai

Today was an exciting one as me and daddy went to Dubai to meet up with daddy's friends Rich and Chloe and their baby Anwyn, who we've never seen as she is only just over a year old (Rich and Chloe have been living in New Zealand for the last 3 years). Me and daddy had a nice easy drive to Dubai, but then had to find the hotel that wasn't easy as daddy says the roads in Dubai are mad (to many fly overs and not enough signs) and as I was doing my usual chatter chatter chatter we kept missing the roads we needed, but after a few attempts we finally arrived at the hotel - I don't know why daddy said it was my fault he was the one driving and missing all the turnings. Once we were there we went up to the apartment and met daddy's friends I remember Rich from when I was a very little as he's really funny, Chloe was really good too. We had lots of races around the old souk's, Anwyn was really nice and I like her a lot - I hope we can meet up when we go back to England. After playing in the apartment for a while, we all went out to get some lunch. we got a taxi up to the place with the Dhow (boat) taxis and got on one to go down the creek until we landed near the restaurants, then we went for a little walk and I chased some pigeons, then we had a nice lunch watching the boats going up and down the creek. After lunch we went for a walk (or should that be run) around the souk's where me and Chloe had loads of races, I won all of them because I am the fastest. When we were all done at the souk, we went back to their apartment to play until at was time for Anwyn to have her 3B's (bath, book and bed) then us boys (me, daddy and Rich) went to Dubai Marina for dinner which was really cool as we sat outside looking at the twisted building, also I got to have pizza and chips just like the song mummy found me on the computer (check out the video and song but beware it gets in your head - http://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/en/songs/pizza-and-chips), but this was no normal pizza & chips this pizza had chips ON it, daddy said its a bit strange but i liked it, and the man serving us was really funny and said I was the king and he kept coming back to serve me. I didn't get to say goodbye to Rich as I fell asleep on the way back so I'll say it now bye Rich.

Neo (rolling his eyes back) - "A cat noise" 

New friend ...

So pony club again, I got up early - I don't think mummy and daddy wanted to get up at all today, but I got them up eventually well mummy got up daddy stayed in bed till mummy had gone to work, we got to pony club OK but things were a bit different today as due to the strong winds a few nights ago the big sun canopy over the area where we ride was broken. There were some fixer men fixing it, so we had pony club on a big grass area near the cafe, it was really nice to go somewhere different. Today I rode Candy and Pepper again and when we were finished I took Pepper back to his stable and helped feed the other pony's, then Peppers handler took me to see the biggest pony they have and said he'd see if I could ride him next week, I hope I can he's almost as big as a horse. All my friends were back this week so I had loads of fun in the park area when we'd finished with the pony's, and there was a new boy there this week, Quinn who joined the gang as if he had been part of it for ever, so it will be really good to see him next week. Later in the afternoon I went to play down stairs in the garden with all the other kids  and had a great 3-4 hours till mummy came home.

Lets build a rocket ....

There was no snoring Friday granddad in my room I would take advantage by having a good long sleep, so long that daddy even had to wake me up so I could get to nursery on time, and we couldn't be late as Abdullah comes with me today. This week at nursery it is reading week,so we are allowed to bring in a book for all of the class, so I decided to take in 'Edward built a rocket ship', which is one of my favourite books, and one of my best friends at nursery is called Edward, and I think me and Edward should build a rocket ship and steal the moon (using a shrink ray), mummy keeps saying Shain could help me with this but I don't need her help, although it would be good to see my silly friend - as I've not seen her for ages think mummy has got to sort that out. After nursery I had a fun afternoon in the garden with all my friends, until mummy and daddy said I had to go in and have some dinner, after dinner I had a good chat with my 'pretties' and that was it for today, night night all.

Neo - "To steal the moon. Can you get a shrink ray as well, as I need one of them too"

Neo - "Ok we'll get it when we go back to England, and I need a space suit, and a spare one. One pink one and one green one."

Miss Jo read my book ...

I've not been up to much today - had another lay in, and been to nursery (and Miss Jo read me and all of my friends my book - Edward built a rocket ship), and then after nursery I played in the garden for about 2 hours and thats about it, for today.

Neo - "At the weekend you have to take me back to England so I can stay at pretty nannies house, so you and mummy can do all the boring shopping"

Goodbye to my 'fridays'

After a goodnights sleep, I decided to bug mummy and daddy until daddy finailly got out of bed to play with me and put on the film I wanted to watch 'Madagascar 2', for some reason daddy wasnt in such a fun mood this morning, later mummy said it was something about me making daddy get up early for the last few days, but I just think he's in a mood because sometimes he just is. When granddad finally got up(nanny got up with me I think it's something all nannys do), me and my 'fridays' went to play in the garden as they had to go home in a bit, and when we got down stairs we saw that it had really rained last night, so much so that there was huge puddles, bits of trees and fences all over the place. After not long enough it was time to go back up and take the fridays to the airport, as it is their time to go back to England. I was sad to see them go but i'll see them soon when we go back to England in July and that will be good. After they had gone through customs, I looked for their aeroplane and when we had seen it - we went home for lunch and a day sleep for me when I woke up, we went to old airport park; I had lots fo fun playing on loads of the climbing frames and swings, until it was time to go home.

Neo - "Daddy, Are you sad now your mummy and daddy have gone back to England?"
Daddy - "Yeah, are you?"
Neo - "Yeah, why did nanny have to go home. She doesn't have work?"

Hilton with my 'Fridays'

Today was a great day, me, daddy and my 'Fridays' spent all day at the Hilton beach club which basically means I spent all day swimming, jumping, building sand castles, flying down the slides and just having loads of fun and getting wet - it was such a wet day it even started raining (mummy would have loved it, but she has to work). Although the day started all strange with a big sand storm,we were driving to the Hilton, daddy said it was like driving through fog, I just thought it was funny that it was daytime but we couldn't see anything. When we got to the Hilton it had all cleared up which was good, but there was no where to park our beast - so daddy left me and my 'fridays' while he went off to park the car, when he eventually joined us me and granddad were already in the pool so I think daddy just went to sleep (he was laying on a bed thing with his eyes closed). After a while we went down to the beach to build sand castles, I think nanny must have got bored of daddy sleeping, so she decided to come down to the beach and we made another sand monster and granddad went for a rest (I'm not sure he can keep up with me, daddy said its something to do with his age). When we were done on the beach it was time for some lunch so we went to wake up daddy. After lunch I took daddy to the slides and we left my 'fridays' to rest while me and daddy played for ages, well until it was time to go home, and that was the bad bit as I was very very tired and daddy said it was to late for a day sleep, so they all bugged me to keep me awake all the way home - I didnt like this but when I got home mummy was there to make it all ok with her massive squeezy cuddles and kisses.

Friday Brunch with the Fridays

Last night I decided that as mummy had made things better yesterday I'd see how far I could go so I woke up calling for daddy in the middle of the night and didn't settle until he came into mine and 'Fridays' bedroom, which was my master plan was to end up in mummy's bed so then I went with daddy to the sofa and waited until mummy came in and asked if  wanted to sleep with her in the big bed, so I told daddy that he could keep my blanket and stay on the sofa - I went into mummy's bed with her for the rest of the night. In the morning I went to see how daddy was and watched a film with him, I'm not sure he was too keen on this - I think he wanted to do more sleeping , but it was morning time. We watched cars 2, by the end nanny was up as well, after breakfast I did some painting and then me & nanny baked some cakes and decorated them with the special icing which pretty nanny bought and left for me. They look really good and taste even better. By the time we finished granddad decided to wake up, so we had to get ready to go out for brunch, when we got to the brunch place the man kept walking us around and around but we never got to a table then mummy and daddy had a chat with him (I know that he wasn't going to be happy as mummy put on her teacher voice and I know that is bad news) as I guessed he wasn't happy but he walked us around some more until mummy finally said OK and we were sat down in a restaurant, which we had all to ourselves, then he went away and we got our food I had the best ever fish fingers (with sweet potato chunks) and ate them all up even though mummy said something about there been enough for 3 of me. After we all finished eating the man took us for another tour but this time a very short one, where we ended up at the pool and me & mummy spent the rest of the day in the pool.

Zoo again ...

Today was a good day - to start off I took friday granddad down to the garden, where Amelia was with her mummy (Nicky), so I asked them if they wanted to come to the zoo as me, daddy and my 'fridays' were going there a bit later, they said yes, so when we had finished playing in the park we all went to the zoo, Amelia and Nicky went in there car because they wanted to go shoping afterwards, where as I wanted to show my 'fridays' the special cars (which drive themselves) at Masdar city. The zoo was good, they have now opened some new bits with snakes and pink funny birds with long skinny legs and some had hair that looked like dandylions (with a loud noise), they made me laugh. Lots of the animals seemed a bit sleepy today maybe it's getting a bit hot for them, they all had strange hose pipes making nice cool mist around there pens.
After we said goodbye to Amelia and Nicky, we went off to 'Masdar' so we could go in the self driving cars and show my 'fridays' all the good things they are doing there to make Abu Dhabi green, I thing it already is as there is trees and grass everywhere, bur daddy says its something to do with something called carbon footprint - I don't really know who that is, but I like doing painted footprints so maybe I can do some more with green paint to help.
When we got home we waited for mummy then we went to the revolving restaurant in marina mall, but daddy forgot to warn nanny about the glass lift (and the height) that goes all the way up through the roof and outside of the building (mummy always thinks its like being in the glass lift in something called 'Charlie and the chocolate factory'),  I thought this was funny as she had to stay as close to the door as possible, so that she wasn't scared, when we got up there she was fine and we had a nice afternoon tea.

Back to nursery

Back to nursery again today, I've missed all my friends there, even though I've been having lots of fun with all my grandparents I still miss my friends, today we were reading the story of the gingerbread man and then we made our own gingerbread men, but they weren't like the ones I made with pretty nanny as we are not allowed to eat them. I got to take home the fire engine - I made last term, mummy really liked it (Miss Jo will be happy). After we got home, I went out to play in the park with nanny while granddad had a day sleep, I don't know why he gets to have a day sleep, because whenever I ask for one everyone says its too late, I'm not sure I agree with this (as he's always having a day sleep).

Splash park fun

Mummy went back to work, - me, daddy and my 'fridays' went to my favourite park, the family park, I had loads of fun running around all the different play areas, and got nanny and granddad climbing on the big pirate ship, I thought this was really funny especially, when I made them all go down the slide. After some lunch we went to the splash park there where I as normal got soaking wet.

Pony club with fridays

Those of you who follow this blog should know its pony club day, today was good, I got to take my 'fridays', and I got to ride my favourite 'Pepper' but someone else was on him, so I went on Candy first, I've not been on her before as all the girls normaly like her, she's only a small pony but she did go really fast for me, I think from now on she will be my second choice because she is so fast, I even overtook all the other ponys, when I was finished on her I had a break then I got to go on pepper and the man who looks after him even let me put him back in his stable, and I helped put all his kit away.
Unfortunatly not all of my little gang were there today, but it was great to see Noah, Liam and their mummy again, as I've not seen them for a few weeks as they have been on holiday to England. Well after pony club we went to the beach for the rest of the day - I did lots of running around and building sand castles, we even made some sand monsters (one had loads of teeth and it kept trying to eat daddies feet). After spending most of the day at the beach, we went back home to see mummy and go out for some dinner we went to the 'Noodle house', I like as all the staff there as they are really funny and the food tastes good too.

Baby talk

Today we had a chilled out day, we all went to the plant market as mummy needed to buy some plants for school, then mummy dropped me, daddy and my 'fridays' at the 'Heritage centre' where we saw some men making pots and glasses.
Neo - non stop talking for about 10 minutes straight - "...and when I was a baby I didn't know how to say all of that"

Tanned Daddy

Today we were very busy, we got up and all got into the car and went for a drive to Dubai, once we were there mummy did a driving tourist tour for my 'fridays' we saw 'The Palm', 'Atlantis', 'Burj Khalifa', 'Burj al Arab', 'Dubai Creek', sections of the souqs, but the best part was the 'Dolphinarium' - where I saw dophins and seals doing tricks, catching balls, jumping out of the water. They were amazing.

Today we had a lazy day on the beach, it was really good as Abdullah and his mummy were there too - so I had loads of fun. It was a nice temperature today, but nanny and granddad were complaining how hot it is, 'but this is not hot nanny'.

Today was another lazy day, me and mummy went into school – she worked, I drew and painted then daddy came and got me we went off to the shops and a play area. That was it apart from a lot of house tidying – I think I heard that my ‘Fridays’ (Friday nanny and granddad) are coming over, but they are trying to keep it a secret I guess they don’t want a ‘hyper Neo’ again, but once I work out when their coming I am saving up aload of hyperness.

So today was a sleepy day with ponies. I went to pony club (mummy went to work) and then when I got home from the ponies I fell asleep – daddy kept trying to wake me, but I was having none of it, I slept for almost 3 hours which is very long - normally I have 20 minutes that if I even have a sleep.

Bye bye to the 'pretties'

I slept back home last night so nanny and granddad could pack everything up as they are going back to England tonight. I let daddy sleep in till 7:30am, this morning and then we watched a film while mummy slept in longer, though she didn’t stay in bed to long as we had to go and spend the last day at the hotel beach, when we got there we couldn’t find my pretties anywhere, so we went to the pool so I could start my day of fun – I was even the first one in the pool. Even thou the weather today wasn’t very good today - it even rained, mummy was soooo happy as it was the first time she had seen and felt rain she’s seen since we’ve been in Abu Dhabi - daddy just kept saying it’s cold it was 27c. After a long day catching crabs, swimming, playing on the slides, and generally just having fun at the pool and beach, we all got dressed and said goodbye to the hotel, and the funny lifeguards who kept trying to tell me off – for doing spins and roly polies down the slide. Then it was off for dinner and back home to say my MASSIVE goodbye’s to the pretties before bed. I hate goodbye’s – I hate saying it on the phone and even more in person, I stick to ‘see you later alligator’.

Pool day

I spent the night with my 'pretties' again, but decided to have a bit of a lay in and waited until 8:30am to wake up, I think that was very good of me as they were looking tired yesterday.  I decided to kick off the day with a nice big breakfast of 2 egg's and 3 pieces of toast, but couldn't wait for the man to finish cooking the eggs so had a quick warm up muffin to keep me going, after all that food I needed to work some of it off - so we went down to the pool again for loads of fun with Lola and granddad. After a while daddy and mummy came along so granddad could have a rest and it was daddy's turn to get wet and half drowned by us. We had lots of fun sending daddy down the slide and jumping over him, after a while we decided it was mummy's turn, so daddy went to have a break. When she was finished, I decided, I needed to have a day sleep as I've not really had enough sleep since my 'pretties' have been here and was verry tired, I'm not sure what they all got up to whilst I slept but I felt much better when I woke up. Then it was time to get dressed and go out for dinner, we went to mummy's bank first but they wouldn't let us in (it is a strange place to go for dinner) but as they didn't let us in we went to a proper place for food - I had pizza and after we had eatten we went to the playarea, before dropping my 'pretties' at their hotel and me, mummy and dadddy went back home.

I know that I am missing a day but unfortunatley once again we have lost that net thing AGAIN - mummy and daddy are getting so annoyed with the company now, but the problem is that there is really only one company here which does broadband unlike in England where at least you can say thet you are going to change companys here you can't so they know that you just have to put up with RUBBISH service in both senses of the word.

Tired

I woke up this morning in nanny and granddads hotel room, and had to complain that I didn’t get my usual book before bed, they said something about me falling asleep during dinner, not sure what that means but I didn’t get a bedtime book so that’s not good no matter what excuse it is. Well after a massive big breakfast (there was a choice of everything you could think of for breakfast), I dragged nanny and granddad out to the pool (at 9am) where we spent all day, which I think I could do every day as it was great, but it was very hot today I heard them say on the radio say that it was into the 40’s today (I knew it was hot today, nanny even made me wear my t-shirt in the pool as my 50spf suntan lotion). I tired myself out so much in the pool and on the beach that I fell asleep on a sun lounger (4.30pm), we were supposed to be going to watch some drag racing tonight but the daddy carried me to the car and put me to bed.

Neo – “I want to go swimming again, but nobody is keeping me awake” Neo falls half asleep

Today was good, after been lazy and letting mummy and daddy sleep in again, me and nanny baked loads of gingerbread men/rabbits/teddies and decorated them with icing. Then when mummy and daddy got up we all went to the zoo, I love the zoo and so does nanny and granddad, we fed loads of animals and I got to hold a snake again, they won’t let me hold the lion cubs any more as they are nearly as big as me now, each one of their paws are about the same size of my two feet put together. One thing that was really funny was one of the big tigers, who I think wanted to eat nanny for dinner as he kept jumping up to where she was standing, his paws was about the same size as her head. He did it to mummy as well, the tigers head was about 5 inches apart from mummies, with only a little wire fence separating them, they were staring at each other for ages before the tiger padded his paw and snorted at the same time which sprayed sand in mummies face (mummy says was great to be so close to a tiger, that she could feel his breathes on her face, I don’t understand what she means, she says weird things sometimes). Later on we all went to ‘The Noodle House’ for our dinner which was really yummy and the waiters were funny especially the one I tickled every time he came near our table, I kept being told ‘do not do it when he has plates in his hands’ but what’s the fun in that so I just ignored them all and carried on.
Nanny – “Say night to mummy and daddy and give them a cuddle”

More gingerbread

Today we all got up as usual but as its Tuesday its pony club, but it wasn’t a normal pony club as mummy and granddad came with me and daddy, which is good as mummy has never been (she’s normally at work) and when I went with nanny and granddad at Christmas it was the long pony trek not my usual pony club, I got to ride Pepper (as usual) and Reis was there YEAH!!, but lot of my friends were away as it holiday time BOO!!. I had a good time anyway, I think mummy and granddad did too, even thou mummy doesn’t really like horses.

Neo (at 8am) – “Nanny, lets bake some gingerbread men”
Nanny – “Neo it’s too early and we still have loads from yesterday’s baking session”
Neo – “Ohhhh, lets bake some cupcakes then”

No net again ...

Mummy and daddy say a massive sorry as there have been no blogs for a couple of days, this is due to 'Etisialat' the company which provides the nets in Abu Dhabi, apparently they have have to re-thread the net or something like that (something about a new cord or cable to our house). So mummy and daddy have popped out to a cafe, to post this as even mummies schools net thing has broken.

Self driving cars

Today I took nanny and granddad to Masdar city, it’s a very smart place as they make their own electricity and recycle EVERYTHING and the building have clever walls which are made of plastic and expand when they get hot so the building keeps cool, but the best thing ever is their cars they drive themselves (all you have to do is press the green ‘go’ button) they even stop and overtake each other and before you say their on a track they are not.

Neo – “I can drive these cars so I can drive your car mummy, you can sleep in the back and I’ll drive us home”

Today we went to the park and shops and later on me, daddy and granddad went to the F1 race track where a man told us all about it and toured us around all the bits you don’t normally get to see, like the racing school (where people learn to be racing drivers), they had lots of different cars and we even got to sit in one which was good even though I’m a bit small so I couldn’t see out. Then we went to race control where there is loads of TV’s showing all the different parts of the track and where they can see if anyone is cheating or been naughty during the races. I had a play on their computers and TV’s, I think I could do this as a job, then we got to go on the podium and held a trophy, something I’ll be doing a lot of when I’m a racing driver. After all of that we went over to the fancy hotel (which is in the middle of the race track) to meet nanny and mummy who had been looking at some paintings, in their gallery.

New Crocs

 I woke up early and the oldies are still here so they haven’t runoff in the night which is good. Daddy took mummy off to do something called PADI, I stayed here with nanny and granddad and when daddy got back we went to the beach, where me and granddad played at the park bits and in the sand while daddy drank coffee and read his book which was good as he’s due a break from my silly games and me winding him up. After a while he went off to get mummy from some boat, so I dragged granddad off to the bigger park bit to play. When mummy and daddy came back we went to get some dinner, but I didn’t want to eat so I decided to sleep on the sofa (as I’ve not done much of that for a few days). When I woke up we went to get me some new crocs as my big feet (size 12) don’t fit my old ones anymore, so now I have new green ones with a buzz on the right one and stitch on the left, they feel a bit funny but I like them there big and bright green. Then I took granddad on the log flume and nanny on the yellow submarine at sparkys (the indoor play area at the mall) I’m not sure they liked it but I think it’s fun to do things like that to them sometimes.

Thursday 24^th March night (or as Uncle Stephen has rightly commented Thursday 22nd March) – I’m very disappointed as I tried to stay up for 'Pretty' nanny and granddad, but I fell asleep on mummy just as they landed but there was a massive hold up at immigration, but when I woke up this morning they were sleeping in my room, hehehehehe. It’s a shame mummy had to go to work in the morning but after today, she doesn’t have to go to school for two weeks - so we can have lots of time and fun. Daddy took me, nanny and granddad to the fruit and veg souq (market), which is good because I always get given loads of free fresh fruit because everyone loves me down there, we went to the section with the dates - which I don’t like but nanny and daddy do, so they bought some of them as well. After the souq we went to one of my favourite parks (it’s called the family park near the Corniche), we spent ages there playing at all the different play areas, granddad hurt himself twice which was funny and granddad hurts himself a lot (which I think is funny), and somehow nanny got all sunburnt on her arms, it’s wasn’t even hot today, not sure what it’s like in England as nanny says it’s a lot sunnier and hotter here. When we went home mummy had finished work and daddy had to take her to the doctor again, but this could be the last time as her back is almost fixed.

I'm a little eeeeeexxxxxxccccciiiittttteeeeddddd, didn't want to go to bed last night and woke up early just to make sure I dont miss pretty nanny and granddad, I  didn't even have a day sleep after swimming andIi always do that, but I wasn't sure daddy was taking me home and I had to make sure I didn't miss the airport trip (with mummy later), daddy's been trying to do all the cleaning that mummy told him to and I've just been running around all day trying to get them here sooner, daddy says 'its like I'm on something' not sure what that means but as I have told you all before  daddy does say some strange things.
When mummy came home she took me out to a mall so that daddy could get on and clean, and on the way out mummy couldn't find the way out of the car park -
Mummy - "arghhh how do I get out of here"
Neo - "The way you came in"

Tuesday so it's pony club, pony club was a bit quiet today as some of my friends were missing this included Noah and liam, I'm not sure where they were. There was lots of dust and sand blowing around in the air today, not that it stopped me and my little gang been as loud and cheeky as normal. Also today I me and pepper went over some small jumps and when the big boss lady wasn't looking, the man who takes me around on pepper let me do some trotting, I think he is as cheeky as me because he kept checking and only did naughty stuff when we wouldn't get caught, hehe, this made me laugh and I had my best cheesy smile everytime we went fast, or jamping over the wood. After pony club daddy had to go and pay someone some money so he can stay as an Abu Dhabi Mum, he doesn't look like a mummy I think thats why he has to pay money so no-one says anything. When we were leaving Reis and his mummy were coming into the building, so me and Reis played with daddy whilst his mummy went to talk to and pay someone as well. After they went I decided that me and daddy should go bowling, as we were very close to the bowling alley - Daddy thought he would beat me but he didn't. Thats about it for today, but tomorrow my nanny and granddad are coming YEAH!!!!

Oh yeah I almost forgot to say, I have post! Which is big news out here as there are not any postmen or even letterboxes, but some how Aunty Chelle and Chris have sent me a box set of Cat in a Hat books, I love them and I can even read some of 'one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish'

Fire station ...

Today was another nursery day, but today was a nursery day with a difference, dum dum dummm.... because after only a little while been at nursery daddy came back and all my class went outside, and we were all loaded into 4 different cars and then we (my class) went on a trip to the fire station - daddy took me, and two of my friends in our car. We all had a good time there and firemen showed us all the things they use to help people, I got to help put the hose pipe together. They had a chainsaw like daddy used to use and the fireman looked very surprised when I told him what it was and that it cuts down trees. After they showed us all the trucks and stuff they made a big fire and showed us how they put it out, after the fire we all got a drink and had some photos taken in front of the big YELLOW fire engine (fire engines are yellow here, BRIGHT yellow, not like in England where they are red), and when we were looking at the camera one of the firemen made us all jump by putting the siren on. At the end of the tour, we all got a gift bag with a big art set in it, I think mummy will like this as its got loads of different things in it for us to do art stuff with.

Mummies day

As today is mothers day, I decided to lay in and let mummy go to work without bothering her - I think she would have preferred it if I had my lay in yesterday but it wasn't mothers day yesterday. Well it was a nursery day today and I had such a good time, I didn't want to come home with daddy. It is much more fun at nursery, although I did have some fun winding up mummy and daddy at dinner time - I think I should get a star for this as I'm getting really good at this now, but they don't seem to appreciate all the effort it takes. Well that's about it for today.

Taste of Dubai

Today I decided I don't like mummy and daddy, as they have a new rule where I'm not allowed in their bedroom before an alarm in my room - I just ignored them and kept going in anyway until daddy gave up and came out to play and after a while after I had breakfast mummy got up and we took her the back doctor again, he's still not finished fixing mummy yet. After we were done there we went to get silly Shain and then her friend Surf, who is now one of my best friends, but on the way to get him silly Shain had a quote even better than mine - mummy asked where should we stop the car for Surf and Shain said ''By that parked car'' but we were driving through the middle of a car park. So after we found the right car to stop next to Surf got in and we went on a long drive to a place called Dubai, when we got there we went to a weird park, which had lots of tents with people selling and giving away loads of really good food and free stuff. I liked the ‘Happy Cow Cheese’ and ‘Haagen-Dazs’ ice cream best, and Shain liked someone called Gary, not the cockerel Gary who lived 2 doors away from our old house, but this Gary does cooking. Later on Robert and Lynne from upstairs came to the park, Lynne went to sleep near the ducks (Yeah proper ducks, mummy was so happy see saw ducks and even feed them some left over pizza), I thought Lynne needed waking up so decided to tickle her rather than jump on her, as she looked like if I jumped on her she might have got angry at me so I thought it wouldn’t be a good idea, even though I think it’s the best way to wake people up. Just as it was time to go home there were some girls dancing in grass skirts, like Lilo does in the film with Stitch, I liked them and danced with them for a while, not that they were as good as me. To finish off the day we walked back to the car past the lake, there was loads of little midges flying around and even better there were loads of bats.

Fun with friends

This morning I woke up really early as per normal (especially for the weekend), me and daddy went out to the garden (and left mummy in bed as finally she was sleeping, mummy has not slept since she's had backache), after we had some lunch all three of us went to the beach - we were there for about 10 minutes before my friend Reis and his parents arrived, so we all had loads of fun digging holes, chasing each other, and generally causing chaos with everyone on the beach, me and Reis were even playing with some of the Emirati kids and later on their parents sent over a tray of food for us, which was good but I preferred Reis's lollies, so left the rolls and trifle's to the grown ups. We had a great time and will put some photos on here soon as i keep forgetting.

I didn't feel like doing much today, so got up hassled mummy and daddy till mummy went to school, then spent the day with daddy not really doing anything. I think daddy was keen to do something but I kept telling him to stay here and just play indoors. So was a good day for me, think daddy was a bit bored though, so he took me to mummy and went to play football, I had fun with mummy and helped her to put up a load of artwork for an exhibition type thingy - passed her loads of nails and paintings. After we had finished mummy said that we were all going out for some dinner, so we sat outside next to a swimming pool and had some yummy food.

Neo - "Mummy will a cuddle make your back better, I can give you a massive squeezy cuddle"

Mummy - "Why?"

Warm again ...

Wednesday today! Normally me and daddy go swimming on Wednesday but today we went to my nursery -it's photo's day, so after a long morning messing about at home we went to nursery, I had some photos taken and I think I was looking good lets hope the photographer is as good at photography as last time I had my photos taken at nursery mummy said they were rubbish and refused to buy them, it was not because of me but the photographer was not very good. After that was all done we went down to the beach where we met Amelia and Nicky, we played there for ages building sandcastles, running in the sea, and going on everything in the playground, daddy had my lunch in the bag so we also had a little picnic on the beach which I love, me and daddy did was always at the beach when we first moved to Abu Dhabi, and I think now its warming up we should do more again, maybe even invite some of my other friends. When we got home we had to go straight out again so that mummy could see the doctor again so it felt like I was in the car for ages, but he helped her to be able to move her back again so it's worth it, because it means she can give me proper cuddles.

IKEA record!

Its Tuesday so pony club, couldn't wait to see all my friends again - its always fun. Me and daddy had to take a load of stuff to mummies school first - as daddy was silly and forgot to do it yesterday, which means we get to drive over the pavement (daddy and mummy moan that its a long drive all the way around but takes 2 seconds if we take a short cut) which is funny as the car goes all wibbly wobbly and shakes me around and which makes me laugh a lot. We finally got to the stables a bit early today which was good because that meant Pepper was waiting for me (like normal) so I got to go on straight away no waiting around, I think everyone else was late today and Reis didn't make it which was a shame as me and him like to run around a lot till one of us gets in trouble, hehe. Noah and Liam's granddad was there and he was very funny especially when he did a magic trick where he blows his hat off his head. After we finished at pony club, we went to a shop called Ikea (lots of you will know this shop) me and daddy don't really like it, only there food makes up for it, I love the meatballs although they are not the same as in England. Me and daddy did the quickest ever shop there we were in and out in under 10 minutes, I think this is a world record (for Ikea) and all daddies should try to get all of the mummies out of Ikea in the same time, daddy thinks this would make the world a better place. Later on we went to Thomas's flat as it is his birthday today, so we spent the rest of the evening there at his party (I like parties) until it was time for my bath.

'But why?'

Another Monday another nursery day, so not too much to say - but when me and daddy got home mummy was there which is strange as she is meant to be at school, I was thinking something is going on with mummy and daddy, or her back is really bad. Mummy said that she needed to go to see another doctor which was really boring, but to make up for it I did get a nice big cinnabon cake to eat yummy. When she came back out of the doctors she said her back felt a lot better, which I think is good as she'll be able to give me proper cuddles again soon. Once we got back home I was able to play outside with Abdullah and some of the other boys who live here.

Today's quote happened during a 20 minute car journey, I was continuously playing the 'but why game', with plenty of 'but whys', 'no, it's not', and 'talk about it more'.
Daddy- 'Is any of my answers going to be acceptable?'
Neo - 'NO!'

I almost forgot mummy said that some of you reading this are in a very cold country called Russia, and that you read about my adventures on a regular bases, so I would like to say 'marhaba' (which is hi in Arabic) to those of you who follow me on here, but don't actually know me and please feel free to comment or ask any questions and I will answer, that's if I can but if not I will ask my mummy to.

I can't talk anymore

Back to nursery today not much to say as I won't tell mummy and daddy what I get up to so I'm not going to tell all of you, so there. The real good thing that happened today was that mummy came with daddy to pick me up, I'm not sure it's so good for mummy thou as it means she had to leave work early because her back is still bad, which means I have to be extra careful not to hurt her, and I'm not very good that.

'Space Cadet'

Today, I woke up and went to see how mummy was, I was trying to be caring but daddy kept shouting at me - I didn’t mean to kick her, or stand on her, or sit on her, or pull her. Daddy says that Mummy has been a ‘space cadet’ today, because she has been taking so many tablets, but I don’t think they have been working as all days she has been saying about how much pain she's in. Anyway today we have a chilled out day, but I got to speak to Aunty Chelle and Chris today – which was great as I miss them, after we said goodbye I talked about them continuously for about an hour solid.

I think I was very nice to mummy and daddy this morning, after waking up I checked on them they said it’s still night time so I left them and played in my room till it was really day time, then got daddy to get up and make my breakfast. Mummy got up a bit later but was all funny and didn’t look quite right – she looked like a robot as she wasn’t moving her neck or her arm), then daddy was trying to get me dressed quickly and saying something about the hospital, but I’ve not had any accidents. I didn’t understand what he was on about but then that’s not unusual as he does come out with a load of rubbish, so off we went to the hospital, mummy went and saw the doctor (not me that makes a change), the doctor said she’s had to go and have some injections, loads of drugs and to rest up for a week, I went with her but her injection was nothing like one I’ve had before – she had a tube in her hand it was attached to a bottle of water. When we got home mummy laid down for a bit and then we took her to Shain’s house - then me and daddy went to my friend Reis’s birthday party on the beach, that’s one of the reasons why Abu Dhabi is so good – it is Friday nanny’s birthday in England today and she says it’s cold but here we have a party on the beach (in March). Reis’s party was really good and we played games like pass the parcel, building sand castles and a piñata. He had a Micky Mouse cake, the whole thing was good fun and I’ve decided I’m having my next birthday on the beach.
